Our approach to ceremony

Inspiration, not appropriation

Plant medicine ceremony is thousands of years of human practice. We did not invent it, and we say so.

What we do

We borrow carefully and name our sources

Our facilitators bring their own training and their own traditions. We draw on practices from around the world, and when something comes from a tradition, we name it.

We never pretend a tradition is ours when it is not. We do not wear the clothes or use the names of lineages we do not belong to.

What we ask of ourselves

Stay curious, stay humble

If you see something in our ceremony that does not sit right, tell us. We would rather hear it and change than keep going and be wrong.
